Overview

This policy covers Sourdough Bulk Planner and Rise & Grumble. Both apps are designed to work locally on your device. Sourdough Bulk Planner helps plan sourdough formulas, bulk fermentation, cold proof timing, reminders, notes, and learning logs. Rise & Grumble helps users learn starter care with a virtual starter, feedings, temperature choices, reminders, and starter recovery logs.

Information stored on your device

The apps may store the following information locally on your device:

• Dough formulas, saved presets, baker notes, and timer settings.
• Starter logs, bake result logs, calibration notes, and timing adjustments.
• Rise & Grumble starter name, starter state, feeding history, quest progress, temperature location, and logbook entries.
• Notification permission status and active timer state.

This information is used only to provide app features, such as calculating formulas, estimating fermentation timing, improving future timing suggestions, tracking starter recovery, and scheduling reminders.

Data collection

Sourdough Bulk Planner and Rise & Grumble do not collect data from your device and do not transmit your formulas, notes, logs, starter state, reminders, or learning data to the developer or to third parties.

Notifications and Live Activities

If you allow notifications, Sourdough Bulk Planner uses local notifications for bake schedule reminders such as folds, preshape, final shape, cold proof, and bake time. Rise & Grumble may use local notifications for starter feeding and check reminders. Live Activities in Sourdough Bulk Planner may show timer progress on the Lock Screen or Dynamic Island. These features are generated on your device.

Third-party services

The app does not include third-party advertising, tracking, analytics, or account SDKs.

Data deletion

You can delete saved formulas, notes, logs, timer data, and starter data from within the app where those features appear. Deleting an app from your device also removes app data stored locally by iOS.

Children's privacy

Bulk Planner is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if app features change. The updated date at the top of this page will change when the policy is revised.
